On November 1, 2023, Permian Resources closed the acquisition of Earthstone Energy, creating the second largest Permian Basin pure-play E&P company. The Earthstone assets consisted of significant core inventory, largely offset to Permian Resources’ existing acreage in Lea and Eddy Counties. This transaction reinforces Permian Resources’ position as a premier Delaware Basin independent E&P, which is uniquely situated to drive profitable growth and development in the world-class Permian Basin.
